Larry and Steve Durden Win the Florida State Championship PDF Print

The 2016 Florida State Championship was held this weekend in Deland, FL on the St. Johns River, where 35 teams from 12 different states came to compete for over $13,000.00 in cash and prizes. The weather played a major role as teams were forced to make adjustments in their game plans due to high winds and cold temperatures.

Larry and Steve Durden took home the 2016 Florida State Championship by weighing in an impressive two-day total weight of 24.91 pounds. The team was one pole fishing in and around the willow pads with a straight hook and minnow rig in 4 to 5 foot of water and catching their fish 2.5 to 3 foot deep. The Durdens fished from a Tracker boat with a Mercury motor and Minn Kota trolling motor. They took home a check for $4700.00, which included a $500.00 bonus donated by the Missouri Corn Growers Association and American Ethanol for using E10 gasoline in their boat.

No Stink In This Announcement! PDF Print

2016 is here and the Crappie Masters Tournament Season is about to fire up, and the start of a New Year welcomes new members to the Crappie Masters family. Crappie Masters is proud to welcome Fish-D-Funk from Contec,Inc. as a National Sponsor for 2016. Crappie Masters President Mike Vallentine says, "We are very happy to welcome Fish-D-Funk on board. After talking with their representatives at ICAST, and finding out more about their products and their effectiveness, it was a natural fit. Everyone who catches and clean fish can relate to what can be an unpleasant odor, and Fish-D-Funk, as they state will remove the stink! Plus, they have such an impressive lineup of other products for the boat, the livewell, the gun owner, even the pet owner! We encourage everyone to find out more about the entire D-Funk product line, and make sure to try them all out. You will be impressed!"

Kill the stink with Fish-D-Funk™  wipes. Fish-D-Funk Odor Control wipes completely eliminate fish smell and other odors.  Take them along with you and use before eating a sandwich on the boat or when you return to the dock and are cleaning your fish.   Fish-D-Funk Fish Catching wipes help you catch more fish.

Scientists believe fish can smell one part per million. So, if your lure or bait smells like the gas tank, your sandwich, sunscreen or you, fish may not bite. Fish-D-Funk™ fish catching wipes keep your hands clean so fish will bite. And, unlike other products, Fish-D-Funk™ will not harm fragile bait or the fish in the live well.

There are countless odor elimination products on the market today. The better ones use either odor neutralization technology or odor counteraction technology. Both technologies work at the molecular level, and both are effective. But nobody had successfully combined these technologies until D-Funk! Dubbed Double Down™, this dual-action odor elimination technology has proven to be far more effective than either of the other technologies used alone. Even more remarkable is the fact that D-Funk™ odor eliminating products are environmentally safe and free of harsh chemicals. This allows them to be used in and around water and on humans and pets without concern.

Fish-D-Funk™ wipes come in a handy canister with a built-in dispenser or convenient individual pouches or pouches of 30 wipes. They are perfect for taking along with you.

Fish-D-Funk™ wipes are a product of Contec, a leading international manufacturer of wipe products, based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. There are several products in the D-Funk™ line, including Fish-D-Funk™ odor removal wipes, Dog-D-Funk™ odor removal wipes or spray, Boat-D-Funk™ boat cleaning spray, Cooler-D-Funk™ cooler cleaning wipes or spray, and Gun-D-Funk™ gun cleaning wipes.

Again, Crappie Masters welcomes Fish-D-Funk to the Crappie Masters family! For more information on the entire D-Funk lineup, go to  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
