Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters Tournament Trail is proud to announce the Missouri Corn Merchandising Council (MCMC) and Missouri Corn Growers Association (MCGA) will serve as a new sponsor for the 2015 tournament season.

A major initiative of this partnership is to educate boaters and consumers on ethanol production, its impact on the economy and its performance in boat motors. Nationwide, over 13 billion gallons of ethanol are utilized each year. The clean burning fuel is distilled using corn grown in Missouri and across the Midwest.

“Missouri Corn is proud to partner with a progressive organization like Crappie Masters to help showcase ethanol’s performance power on the water,” said Kevin Hurst, incoming MCGA president and farmer from Tarkio, Mo. “These guys are serious about fishing and serious about their boats. They need a fuel they can trust and that is gas blended with 10 percent of renewable, cleaner burning, Missouri-made ethanol.”

The following rules have been changed and will go into effect immediately. All participants are responsible for knowing the rules and the rule changes will be announced at the remaining seminars this season. 
 

Rule #25: SCALES: Scales will be set up and open two hours before the end of the official fishing hours for all tournaments.

Rule #26: WEIGH IN: Teams are allowed one (1) weigh in on tournament day. Scales will open two hours before the end of the official fishing hours for teams to weigh in early if needed.
