Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters All American Trail wrapped up the Northwest Division June 9, 2007 at Lake Shelbyville, IL. Sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, Tracker Marine, Mercury Motors, Minn Kota and Humminbird, the tournament conditions weather was sunny, 80 degrees and light winds. 74 anglers competed and were catching alot of fish but big ones were hard to come by.

The Northwest Division rankings were dominated by Iowans as 9 of the top 10 teams in the division were from the state of Iowa. Winning the Northwest Division was Brian Carter of Florida and Scott Carter of Iowa and who had a two lake total of 10.56 lbs. The team had 8.54 lbs on Lake Rathbun and a tough day on Lake Shelbyville with 2.02 lbs. Second overall in the division was team Mike and David Singleton of Iowa with a two lake total of 9.55 lbs. Third overall was the team Ron Giberson and John Simmons of Iowa with a total of 8.67 lbs.

The Lake Shelbyville tournament was won by father-son team of Vaun and Jeff Engle. The team weighed in 6.24 lbs. to take first place and $1,000.00. They also had 2nd big fish worth 111.00 for a crappie weighing 1.2 lbs. The team stated one used purple and chartreuse jigs and the other red and silvers. Jigging in 2-7 foot waters with Outlaw poles.

Second place went to Dean and Tim Benson of Florida with a seven fish total of 5.87 lbs. The team was jigging earlier when they caught most of their fish using purple and chartreuse jigs and B&M poles in 7-9 foot waters. The later trolled with jigs and live bait with little results. Second place earned them $600.00.

Team Frank and Jeff Revell of Illinois took third place honors with a total weight of 5.62 lbs. The team fished 3-6 foot waters with Midsouth jigs and B&M poles. Third place earned them $500.00. Fourth place went to Illinois team of Ivan York and Guy Allen whom missed third place by a hundredth of an ounce with a weight of 4.51 lbs. Fourth place team earned $400.00. Fifth place went to Rodney Lange and Clifton Martin with a total of 5.41 lbs. and check for $300.00. The team won big fish and $259.00 with a 1.39 lb. crappie. Sixth place and $200.00 went to Jon Grubb and Ryan Markwell of Illinois with a weight of 5.34 lbs. Seventh place $150.00 went to Charlie Hildreth of Indiana with 4.89 lbs.
