Walnut Ridge, AR (September, 2007) – American Angler, the recognized leader in the fish fillet industry, is excited to announce the addition of their Crappie Master’s Pro Staff team. Wade Mansfield and Reggie Riedinger joined American Angler in 2007 and have been competitively competing on the Bass Pro Crappie Masters tour since January under the American Angler name.

American Angler has been a national sponsor with the Bass Pro Crappie Masters tour since the tour began five years ago. This year American Angler went through a rigorous selection process to choose the best team to represent the company’s high quality brand of knives. Wade and Reggie have been actively fishing the professional fishing circuit and the team has placed in the top five in the point’s race in the past two years. Not only is American Angler a national sponsor for the team but they also have shrink wrapped the team boat for maximum exposure on the road and on the water.

By partnering with American Angler, Wade and Reggie can now showcase their fishing and filleting skills at all of the major national qualifying tournaments on the Crappie Masters tour. On March 3, 2007 Team American Angler fished the Reelfoot Lake (Major) Tournament in Tiptonville, TN. The team placed 7th with a total weight of 9.31pounds.
