Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters All American Trail held the 2nd leg of the Toyota Tundra Florida State Championship on February 1. The City of Sanford hosted the tournament held on Lakes Monroe and Jessup. Special guest Gary Mason of Legends of the Outdoors Mc’d the event.

Dennis Tittle and Dixie Glisson of Florida won first place. The Florida team weighed in seven fish for a total 11.20 lbs. to take the top honor. The team earned $5,000.00 for their victory and won big fish with a crappie weighing 2.18 lbs. Teams were very quiet about how and what the used to catch the crappie as Saturday is the State Championship.

Second place was taken by Marc Danque of South Carolina. Danque weighed in 10.98 lbs. earning him $2500.00. Third place was won by AWD Baits Dennis Outlaw and Steve Deason from Georgia with 10.27 lbs. Top adult-youth team was won by Matt and Drew Morgan with 8.99 lbs. Top male-female team went to Danny and Beth Williamson who also finished in sixth place overall.

Saturday February 2 will be the Toyota Tundra Florida State Championship as teams will start with a clean slate and the Florida State Champion will be crowned. The Florida State Championship is being filmed by Revive the Outdoors with Cody & Cody on the Sportmans channel.
