The first ever crappie techniques school that was held in association with the one day national qualifier on Kerr Buggs Lake was the place to be to learn how to fish better. One angler that attended the classes went out later and caught his biggest crappie to date.
Larry Thornhill, Fish Harder Co. and Clarksville Economic Development Association held the classes with anglers doing lectures and taking questions. The seminars were excellent and informative, just look at who was teaching. The anglers that attended went across the age spectrum from young to older. They thoroughly enjoyed the classes and mingling with the lecturers around their boats after class to get more tips. Some of the attendees went home with sponsor prizes from a drawing held at the end.
