Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters will hold a one day national qualifier and grass roots tournament on Monroe-Jessup-Harney-St. Johns River in Sanford, Fl. On February 6, 2010. Sponsored by the City of Sanford, Seminole County Tourism and Southeast Toyota the tournament brings a chance for anglers to qualify for the 2010 National Championship on Truman Lake, Clinton, MO.

Teams may fish Monroe-Jessup or Harney. Teams may also fish the St Johns river up to Spring State Park. The seminar and late registration is will be held at the Sanford Civic Center at 5 pm followed by the meeting at 6:30 on February 5. Fishing hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm with the weigh in a Fort Melon Park both day. The weigh in is open to the public.

The Crappie Masters Kid’s Fishing Rodeo sponsored by the Sanford Chamber of Commerce, Sanford Herald and Bass Pro Shops of Orlando will be held February 6th at the Fort Mellon Park. Registration will be from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. with activities from 9 to 11 a.m. Kids will fish for prizes and fun. Kids should be their pole and bait.

Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters tournament trail will head to Lake Talquin for a major one day national qualifier and grass roots tournament at Lake Talquin on Feb. 13. Grass Roots division is for anglers who have never fished a Crappie Masters tournament in the last 5 years and would like to experience tournament fishing. Grass Roots entries are 60.00 per team and they will fish against other grass root entries for 70% of the total purse. All rules apply for the grass roots division. Grass roots entries can not qualify for the National Championship held in October on Truman Lake in Clinton, MO.
