I think for tournament fishing the biggest problem is keeping the fish healthy. You can't put a lot of fish in your livewell and the aeration system must be kept on all the time. Some brands of formulas can be beneficial, too.

Summer fishing makes docks good for anglers. I like the docks in deeper water because crappie will go shallow and then back out so they need that deeper water. There will always be some fish under the docks in the summer. They like shade and may be at five foot in mid-summer.

Skiers and Sea-Doos are often worse in the middle of the day. That's not the best time for summer fishing anyway. But if you do fish then you just have to grin and bare it because they have just as much right to the water as us. The bite is best early and late so enjoy that and also avoid the heavy traffic.
