Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters announces what is new for 2010.
We would like to announce some new sponsors for 2010. Power Pole, the ultimate shallow water anchor has come on. They will are sponsoring a shrink wrap with anglers Charlie and Travis Bunting. You will see them on the water. Ask Charlie and Travis to give you a show on this great product.
Bandit lures came down to the 2009 Grenada Lake National Championship and seen how crappie anglers were using those crankbaits. We appreciate them coming on board.

Cannon and Williams Win Toyota Lake Talquin Qualifier
 Danny Cannon and Billy Williams took first place at Lake Talquin as many teams had a difficult time dealing with wind and cold. Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters held a national qualifier Feb. 13, 2010 at Lake Talquin, Quincy, FL. Sponsored by Gadsden County Florida, Tallahasee Sports Commission and Toyota anglers dealt with cold, rain, wind, freezing temperatures as a cold front moved into the southern states. Cannon and Williams 13.67 lbs on seven fish just over taking the second place team and winning $4000.00.

Parker - Cole Take Toyota Sanford Tournament
Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters held the Toyota Lake Monroe National Qualifier in Sanford, FL on February 6th. Sponsored by Toyota, City of Sanford and Seminole County Tourism, the one day tournament qualified the top 15 for the national championship held in October at Truman Lake, Clinton, MO.
 George Parker and Darryl Cole took first place after a front moved through the area bringing high winds and cooler temperatures. The team did little pre fishing and fished up the St. Johns River. They fished the edge of the river channel looking for drop offs. Fishing 14 foot dept it was slow bite as fish were on the bottom and wanted a slow presentation. They fished straight hooks with Wally Marshall rods, Humminbird finder and Minn Kota trolling motor. They weighed in 13.83 lbs on seven fish and took home $4000.00 for first place.

Cantell and Huff Kick Off 2010 As Toyota Florida State Champions
 Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters kicked off the 2010 tournament trail at Tavares, FL on Harris Chain of Lakes. Sponsored by the City of Tavares, Lake County Florida and South East Toyota the tournament showed that the crappie were healthy and abundant as anglers caught many fish including some of the best weights in recent years as a few anglers busted the 10 lb mark on seven fish.
On day one the team of John Boise and Larry Drunert set the mark weighing in 11.14 lbs on seven fish. Joe Miller and John Peyton held second place with 10.78 lbs. The Road

Crappie Masters Returns to Weiss Lake Feb 27
Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters holds a major one day national qualifier with a grass roots division on Feb 27, 2010 at Weiss Lake, Centre, AL. Sponsored by Cherokee County COC and South East Toyota, anglers entered in the one day major tournament will compete for a guaranteed minimum of $10,000.00 cash plus prizes.
