Autrey and Flick Win Toyota Lake Wylie Tournament
Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters Toyota Lake Wylie tournament in Rockhill, S.C. was held May 10, 2008. The Tracker series divisional tournament was met with heavy storms as they battered the east coast during pre fishing week including tornadoes on the east coast states. Warm weather prevailed for tournament day as temperatures reached 80 degrees.
Leonard Flick and Rancy Autry of Leesville, SC took the top honors with a seven fish total of 10.58 lbs. The team was shooting docks in 15-20 foot waters with a variety of color of jigs tipped with minnows. The team earned $1,000.00 for their efforts.

Rogers & Rogers Win Tuttle Creek, Nicholas & Bohn Win Minnewaska
Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters All American Tournament Trail held two Tracker Series tournaments this past weekend. Sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, Tracker Marine, Toyota Tundra, Mercury Motors, Humminbird, Minn Kota and Manhattan CVB, Tuttle Creek lake in Manhattan, KS. was one of the tournaments and the other was held in Glenwood, MN. on Lake Minnewaska. Wind gust of up to 30 mph made tough fishing for most at both locations.
Charlie Rogers and Kevin Rogers from Missouri won the Tuttle Creek tournament. The team arrived the day before the tournament with just enough time to take a look at the lake having never fished it before. Their slow trolling in 12 foot

Welch and Polley win Lake Shelbyvile
Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters Tracker Series Divisional tournament was held on Lake Shelbyville on April 26, 2008. Sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, Tracker Marine, Toyota Tundra, Mercury Motors, Humminbird, Minn Kota and the city of Sullivan, the tournament brought slow bites as anglers struggled to pull in larger weights.
Steve Welch and Rick Polley finished first with 6.71 lbs on seven fish. The team had 2nd big fish with a 1.17 lb. crappie. They stated they were using spring corks over stumps 15” deep. Braun and Brown Win Ozarks!
Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters held a one day national qualifier on Lake of the Ozarks April 19, 2008. With a front pushing through on Friday the weather brought colder temperatures with some gusty winds and rain. Tournament day remain chilly and overcastted with gusty winds. Crappie Masters flagship radio host Brad & Brian in the Outdoors emceed the event as126 anglers competed despite weather. It was Ken Braun and Russell Brown whom took first place with a seven fish total of 9.67 lbs.
Sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, Tracker Marine, Toyota Tundra, Mercury, Humminbird and Minn Kota, first place earned the team $5,000.00 and a Bass Pro Shops vip card. Minnawaska Tournament Moved To May 3rd
The Lake Minnewaska tournament originally scheduled for April 26 will be moved to May 3rd, 2008. With the ice not cleared enough from the lake creating safety and pre fishing concerns, Crappie Masters decided it was necessary to move the date. Reports from locals say this is the longest the ice has stayed on the lake in some time.
The seminar and registration location will be the only thing thing affected with this move. It will now be held May 2, 2008 at Minnewaska House, 24895 Hwy 28, Glenwood, Mn.

Rogers and Rogers win Eufuala
Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters Tracker Series Divisional tournament was held on Lake Eufaula, OK. April 12, 2008. Continued rain and a cold front moved through causing the lake to be on the rise and winds gusting up to 20 mph. Sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, Tracker Marine, Toyota Tundra, Mercury, Humminbird and Minn Kota, previous weeks reported excellent crappie fishing while the pre fish week brought reports of slow bites.
Charlie and Kevin Rogers found enough bite to take first place weighing in seven fish for a total weight of 9.59 lbs.

Grenada Monster Crappie - Blackley & VanCleave Win
Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters All American Trail was in Grenada, MS. on April 5th for a one day national qualifier. Sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, Tracker Marine, Toyota Tundra, Mercury Motors, Humminbird, Minn Kota and Grenada Tourism 148 anglers competed at the lake that will host the 2009 National Championship. A rainy friday pre fish day brought another couple feet of water to the lake which had been rising a few feet the previous day scattering crappie. Predictions of low weights didn't hold up as anglers were able to find monster crappie on the great crappie lake. Three teams weighed in a crappie of over 3 lbs.
First place went to a team that got their first win at a Crappie Masters tournament. The team of Tim Blackley and Jackie Vancleave fished 4-6 foot waters slow trolling using Wally Marshall poles with chartreuse tub jigs and weighed in seven fish for a total of 15.28 lbs. The team said they didn't fish vegetation and the bite would be very active and then very slow for a while. First place earned the team $5000.00 and a Bass Pro Shops VIP card for the year.

Father - Son team Arthurs Win Kerr Buggs
Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters All American Trail came to Kerr Buggs Reservoir March 29th, 2008 for its first tournament on the lake. Sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, Tracker Marine, Toyota, Mercury Motors, Minn-Kota, Humminbird, Clarksville Convention and Visitor Bureau and the Clarksville Economic Development Association the tournament guaranteed $12,000.00 minimum payback and a chance to win $100,000.00 if a state record is caught. 88 anglers took a shot at the record. With a front moving in for competition day the state record was not to be broken. Anglers stated they caught plenty of fish but large crappie were hard to come by. Father and sons teams ruled the day with two placing in the top 3 and four competing.
