The Ultimate Challenge Truman Lake Info

Coming up at the end of the month is the long awaited Ultimate Challenge. Sponsored by Bass Pro Shops, Blakemore Lures, FoodSource, Spike-It, Bucksaw Marina and Clinton CVB, the tournament will test the wares of one pole jiggin anglers.

The tournament is a two day event beginning on May 31 and ending on June 1st.

Anglers need to be aware of the specifics of this tournament. The entry deadline passed on April 31, 2008. There will be no anglers signed up at the seminar.

Pre fishing is allowed on Truman lake prior to May 21st. Lake Off Limits is May 21st through May 27th.

Pre Fishing resumes on May 28, 29 and 30th. Anglers must stop pre fishing at 4pm on May 30th the day of the seminar.

Teams will draw for a number and launch from Bucksaw Marina by boat or trailer by number. Number will be drawn at the seminar. Day two will reverse the order.

Teams may have more than one pole in the boat. You may only fish with one pole per team member.
